Quote of the day.

Anton handed me one of his go fish cards that he was cleaning up.  So I asked him what number was on it.

Now remember that he just turned three.

I was pointing at the four in one corner and he looked the card over and said “forty four”.  I think my mouth hung open for a minute.  Then he handed me another card.  So I pointed at the three and asked what number it was.

He, again, looked it over and said “thirty three”.

Oh my.

I told Abby that it was time to get ready for school.  She did not respond.

So I said “Abby do you hear me?”

And I heard a little voice say “No.”

Where’d the time go?

Well I haven’t been around these parts since August.  I kept thinking that I need to come back but then I wonder how do I get started again?  Just start posting or start with a post recognizing that I was gone?  But instead I decided to do a quote:

Tony told me once that “Women are always on the edge of crazy.”

I replied that “It’s kids that send us over the edge.”

EJ went “Uh?”

and Tony said “Men are always on the edge of dumb.”`
